Twitter is breaking into uncharted waters.  On Oct. 19th 2009 Google signed its deal with Twitter to allow Twitter’s data to be used in Google’s search engines.

Mark Zuckerberg, a 23 year-old psychology student from Harvard University launched Facebook in February 2004. Zuckerberg, a keen computer programmer, created the social-networking site specifically for Harvard students but eventually expanded to other Ivy League colleges and universities because of the huge popularity of the site.  From there, it was opened to high school students. Then in September 2006 any one with a valid email address and at least 13 years of age could join Facebook.
